Spotify Wrapped 2023 Is Live! Here’s How To Use It
Spotify Wrapped 2023 has officially dropped, and it’s packed with more features and insights into our musical journeys than ever before. As a die-hard music fan (and a bit of a podcast enthusiast), I’ve spent the year exploring a vast array of tunes and talks. Let’s dive into what Spotify Wrapped 2023 offers and how you can make the most of this annual musical recap.
What Is Spotify Wrapped?
Spotify Wrapped is an annual tradition where Spotify gives us a deep dive into our listening habits over the past year. It’s a fun, personalized experience that showcases your top songs, artists, genres, and even podcasts. This year, Spotify has upped the ante with new interactive elements and global integrations that make Wrapped more immersive than ever.
My Spotify Wrapped 2023 Experience
To give you a taste, let’s peek into my Spotify Wrapped for 2023. I played a whopping 1,627 songs across 53 different genres, with my top picks being alternative metal, hip-hop, and rock. Interestingly, my listening taste aligns closely with folks in Pittsburgh—a surprising yet amusing revelation!
Top Songs and Artists
I rocked out to Slipknot’s “The Dying Song (Time to Sing)” a staggering 65 times, making it my top song of the year. My top five songs were dominated by Slipknot, with a sprinkle of Stone Sour. Clearly, I have a thing for Corey Taylor’s musical genius.
When it comes to artists, I was among the top 0.3% of Slipknot listeners worldwide, clocking in nearly 5,000 minutes with them. Metallica, Stone Sour, Korn, and Alice In Chains also made it to my top five, painting a clear picture of my musical taste.
Podcast Life
I didn’t just stop at music; I devoured podcasts, spending over 40,000 minutes on them. My top five included “The Joe Rogan Experience,” “This Past Weekend” by Theo Von, “Wild Ride! with Steve-O,” “The HoneyDew With Ryan Sickler,” and “Bertcast” by Bert Kreischer.
How to Access Your Spotify Wrapped 2023
