Amazon is running fresh discounts on Apple’s M5 iPad Pro lineup this week, with deals across both the 11-inch and 13-inch models.
The headline number was a short-lived one: the 11-inch M5 iPad Pro (2TB, Wi-Fi) briefly dropped to $1,480.80 thanks to an on-page coupon — $518 off Apple’s $1,999 list price. That coupon has since expired, but a bunch of the more “normal” discounts are still live.
Quick Specs
- M5 chip
- 11-inch or 13-inch Ultra Retina XDR display
- Wi-Fi 7
- Face ID
- Storage options from 256GB up to 2TB
- Nano-texture glass option on select 1TB/2TB models

Should you buy it?
If you already know you want an iPad Pro, these discounts are the kind of “clean” price cuts we like to see — especially on the base 11-inch 256GB model at $899.99.
That said, don’t get hypnotized by the 2TB configs unless you truly need them. Most people are better off buying a smaller storage tier and putting the savings toward:
- Apple Pencil USB-C – (if you actually draw or take handwritten notes)
- Magic Keyboard – (if you’re trying to replace a laptop)
- iCloud storage – (if your main problem is photos and backups)
How long it’ll last
Amazon iPad pricing can flip within hours — especially when an on-page coupon is involved. If you see a coupon box on your exact configuration, clip it immediately and check out. Coupon gone already? Don’t assume it’s coming back.
If you’re not in a rush, it’s also worth keeping an eye on major sale windows (and on any retailer price-matching that tends to follow).
